All there, but only if you want it

Honestly speaking: you want to see a TV only when you use it. The same applies to the complete HiFi system. And you really don't want to see the inevitable cable. So why don’t hide the complete entertainment equipment and only get it out when you need it? The idea for a functional sideboard of entertainment was born. Now it had to be designed.

A Hi-Fi furniture supposed to be quiet?

What at first sounds like a contradiction in terms was the default for the design! Wanted was a quiet and clear language of form, an elegant and reduced performance. This briefing on clean lines and an indirect lighting, which gives a modern, almost floating character to the sideboard, was implemented. But that is not enough. What looks good, must also work well. We take a look into the inner workings of the sideboard.

The multi-talent with hidden strengths.

At first glance, you do not recognize what's in it. But then with the push of a button the flat screen television shows up out of the sideboard and disappears just as quickly back behind the elegant high-gloss fronts. If you move both front doors left the hi-fi system appears that is connected to the built-in speakers on the left and right ends of the sideboard. Behind the Middle door a bar is hidden and in the left pane of the sideboard is even room for a small library.

Where to place the wires?

It was challenging: how to hide the wires? In the storage area, the cables of all electrical appliances should be housed so that they won't show when you open. Not an easy task and it took a little try, surveying, and discuss - but finally the solution was found. An additional back panel with passages and the cables were what they should be: invisible.

Here it is!

The entertainment sideboard is finished. The result is a high-quality multi-talent in an elegant brilliance. And it is the burden of proof that one TV and Hi-Fi equipment, elegant and space-saving can be integrated into a modern piece of furniture. Concert, blockbuster or a legend of film history? All there! Only if you want.
