Olivari dal 1911, Made in Italy

Olivari was set up in 1911. In its 100 years of history; Olivari has always sought out the maximum in quality, relying on the creativity of the best designers, Olivari handle design has been innovated ceaselessly, and it let them always be the innovator in the field of handles. Though it uses the most advanced technology, Olivari preserves all the artisanal wisdom it has accumulated in their long history. Olivari has been manufacturing handles at its own factories in Italy where the entire production process takes place. Starting with brass billets, the handles are forged, milled, polished, buffed, chrome-plated and hallmarked with a laser. The Olivari family has handed down its attention to details, the search for innovation, and mainly a passion for its work, from generation to generation.

In 1959, the world's first anodized aluminum handle "Bica" Olivari marketed, and introduced "Bona" the first colored plastic handle in 1970; they both quickly became best sellers and were copied widely. In the 1980s, the company was handed down to the third generation of the Olivari family and the company went international. New designers were summoned: Gior-getto Giugiaro, Ferdinand A. Porsche, Rodolfo Bonetto, and Giotto Stoppino, who wins the Italian Golden Compass design award with his handle Alessia. During the following decade, Olivari had introduced new products constantly; and Olivari was selected in ADI Design Index 2011.

Olivari has certification UNI EN ISO 9001 and UNI EN ISO 14001, the manufacturing system is highly automated and environmentally friendly. Superfinish is a great innovation, it can guarantee surface of handles to last for 30 years at least, it is exceptionally resistant. Olivari researched and developmented unique method for chrome-plating brass ecologically, laboratory tests had shown that Biochrome plating has no harmful to both health and environment; so it is suitable for green architecture and anywhere a low environmental impact product I required.
