Häfele presents ALLYN – the smart hotel

BAU 2019 Trade fair preview: New drivers for the project business

At the BAU in Munich, Häfele will be exhibiting the smart hotel of the future. The market leader for hardware fittings and electronic access control systems has advanced to become an international hotel specialist and will make the added value of its 360° comprehensive project solutions come to life with a thought-out hotel mock-up at the exhibition booth in Hall C4/311.

The focus of the Häfele exhibition booth at the BAU 2019 this time is ALLYN (“all you need”), the smart hotel model room for comfortable living at an unbeatable low price, equipped with products from the Häfele assortment for hotels.

The smart hotel is the result of extensive cooperation with the start-up hotel brand, ALLYN (all you need), founded by hospitality industry expert Alain Cheseaux, and hotel planner and think tank Monoplan, both from Zurich. On display will be a model room and central hotel areas on 200 sqm in 1:1 scale, including a foyer with self check-in, conference and co-working space, “living room”, and bar. The visitor dives into an interactive hotel world with smart equipment, intended for urban agglomerations, perfectly geared to the rebranding of existing hotels, but just as suited for the conversion of commercial properties and for new buildings. The target group of guests are the business travellers in medium and large cities. The focus of ALLYN is precisely the comfort that hoteliers need for the operations and that guests require during their hotel stay. The public area serves as a living room and offers space to communicate and work. Digital components, such as a perfect WiFi network, self check-in, smartphone key and an app for booking individual services are part of the overall concept.

The Häfele hotel assortment

The hotel mock-up makes it possible to experience how hotel rooms are designed down to the last detail – using the hotel assortment by Häfele, consisting of more than 300 products. The designs and finishes have been coordinated perfectly with each other in the Häfele hotel assortment. The result is a stylistically atmospheric unit with a wow factor. As far as the design of guest rooms and bathrooms is concerned, planners and operators can select products and systems that are mutually compatible in a quick and targeted way. They benefit from global availability, standard quality and consistent design.

Success with Häfele as your partner from the start

The concept “ALLYN stay smart” that has been turned into reality promises real estate owners above-average returns, and a comfortable and smart ambience at an unbeatable low room rate for the guests. This creates an all-round fascinating and inspiring win-win situation for everyone involved.

More life per square metre in the hotel

With its hotel mock-up, Häfele remains faithful to its outstanding role as a forward-looking driver in the project business at BAU 19, accepts social challenges, such as the generational change in the accommodation industry in 2019, and continues to drive these forward with selected partners. Milestones on this journey were the “Functionality Cube”, with its multi-functional interior concept for the LoftCube by Werner Aisslinger, the multi–award winning trend project of the youth hostel room of the future, “Youth Lab”, and the “Micro Apartment” presented at the last BAU in Munich – a persuasive reverence, of which trade visitors can convince themselves once again at the BAU in Munich.
